Cottrell & Ross started out in the 1950’s as Bill Cottrell Car Painters, a family-run auto paint workshop. Bill Cottrell, the original owner, soon went into partnership with Clive Ross, a long-time employee, and together they successfully grew and evolved Cottrell & Ross into a thriving Whangarei business. Clive and his wife Carol eventually took over the running of the workshop and business, expanding the services and improving the workshop technology and equipment to an extremely high standard. History has now repeated, with Tim Wall – a dedicated employee of over 15 years – having purchased off Clive and Carol to continue the legacy of Cottrell & Ross. Tim and his wife Amy are both working full time in the business, with Clive still an active member of the team, giving a sense of continuity and ensuring the smooth transition of ownership.
